 We know that the curse mastery will be applied whenever a curse skill casted. And the fire mastery will be applied only when fire skill casted for mage and it gives you 30% additional attack dmg multiplied by the basic damage whereas segnale only gives 5%. It just like the 2 people who are replying about the seg skills probably has a low/mid level (star trek credits) segnale.
You'll find that there are essentially 4 skills you will use when you get to a certain level. CF, SE, RF, EC. Each one of these is curse based, with crow adding some physical damage. Good luck putting magic gems in there. You'll just ruin a whip if go ahead and try it.
Using % curse gems is the way to go since those skills are curse based. But keep in mind; this depends upon your level. Up to around level 60-90 you will be better off using add gems, instead of %.
